It seems it wasn’t just word of mouth that made milliondollarhomepage.com so popular, but the use of a $7000/month PR agent. Who know the truth? Who cares?
Well done to alex for, almost, reaching 1,000,000 pixels sold and becoming an American Millionaire. Personally I think it’s all pointless but people will spend money on anything nowadays.

the point of the article how the initial hype was produced, not by webwordofmouth but by good old payed for advertising, yet the site owner blogs nothing of the hiring of Imal Wagner soon after the site went live, instead he blogs that he wrote a press release himself and released it ( presumably using a free service….
